2" body lift

If I put a 2" body lift on a 2001 4X2, would that give it a sharper look WITHOUT having to buy bigger tires for it? Or would it still look a little weird with the stock tires?

It might look a little weird. You could always level out the front end. That is cheap and would look better than a 2" body IMO. I am not sure if the 4x2 has torsion bars or not? I can not remember I think it is only the 4x4's???

Eh, mine looked fine with a leveling kit and the stock wheels and tires on there. I mean nothing like with the 35's, but it still looked better IMO

it would look fine, i suggest a 3.5 spindle lift though. Much easier to install and its all suspension lift.

i have a lariat 4x4 that i put a 2.5 inch leveling kit on 4 weeks ago with stock tires and wheels...it doesnt look too bad, but i think it would have looked alot better with more aggressive tires...i didnt acheieve the look i wanted tho so i sucked it up and spent some money for a 6 inch lift and 35 inch tires and new wheels....it looks great now...i need to get rid of that leveling kit if ya wanna buy it..i had it for 4 weeks

Nah, thats alright. But does anybody know if there is a big difference in a 265/70/17 and a 255/70/16 tire?
