Lift for an 04 Lariat....

I am looking an answer on something. I am new to lifting trucks and spending the money that I dont have. I am considering lifting my truck up a few inches and want some opinions. I know some have been posted previously but I dont want to search through 20 threads to find what I need.

I am considering a Fabtech 6" for my truck. I currently have 2" spacers to give me enough room for the 33s I just put on it. of course after 6 months I am already tired of that. I know everyone has their opinions, let me have it!!!!

6" fabtech, 4.5-6" RCD or even a 4" rancho all good kits
then if you have deep pockets you can always ride with the big boys and get a rize 8 or 12" lift

Keep the spacers and throw the 6" Fabtech on. Then level out the back with an AAL or a bigger block as others have done. Then you can clear 37's with the right wheels if I am correct.

Also make sure to take account for gearing needed to push those 37's

my vote is for the pro comp stage 2 kit. rides great and actually is about 7-7.5 inch lift in the front. and yes, you need to buy a shim kit to level it. otherwise your rear will look like mine (im puttin on the shim kit in a week)

Not trying to be a **** or nothin man, but are you going for completely level or a little pre runner? Because I don't think those shims will level you out completely. I could be wrong, thats been proven before.

how much does a shim kit run? I have seen a pro comp 6" lift for about 1200 which I am curious about, I just havent heard anything about it from anyone. Everyone seems to be in agreement about Fabtech. Agree?
