DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT THEN!! I got an XL and accomodated it well

BTW I prolly get into mud at least 4 days outta the week cuz of my job and after quite ALOT of mud I have gotten stuck once, but even a 4wd woulda been SOL, I "accidently" drove into a makeshift swamp I dunno where it came from it just popped outta nowhere! I've had people out in the mud with me with their 4X4's and almost get stuck as I'm leading them really it's all down to how u drive...unless it's snow, the only time I NEEDED it was coming down in a blizzard with an 01 expy, drove like a charm, my uncle was following me in his Jeep in 2wd (he 4got to engage 4by) & he slipped off the road and rolled over into a ditch..
I lifted my truck for looks and bigger wheels and tires! I actually need the clearance! & i'm not done w/it yet! Why not lift 2wds? It IS practical to lift a 2wd too

Oh yeah, here's one other reason for a 2wd lift:

My brother works in a clay pit, and is the kind of job you need a 4x4 for. Gettin to the bulldozer, or other heavy equipment is probally what some of the folks out there call " off roading", but he gets by with a 2wd chevy s-10 with some 225/70 r15 street tires. He really puts that truck through the ringer!! i think he might love a 2wd lift, because the only time he gets stuck, he pretty much bottoms out. 6-12" of wet and juicy red clay aint no joke.

i would of lifted 2 wheel drive or 4 wheel, lifted trucks look good period. its kinda like a woman with big fake *****, even if you dont fondle them they still look good. just like 2 wheel or 4 wheel drive trucks if its big and lifted it looks good even if you dont use it for off roading

I got a link to some person in San Antonio trying to get rid of some 07 18's FX4 rims, all they want is $200. It could make you're truck look real nice.

I personally would never buy or lift a 2 wheel drive truck, but I was going to lower my Chebby Silverado in high school (class of 94). I also live in Michigan though and we still get a fair amount of snow. 4WD is nice. Plus I like to off road, so 2WD isn't practical for me.

But I would be curious to know this from everyone who has a 2WD F150, lifted or not...

Will your next truck be 4WD and if not would you still buy and lift another 2WD? just curious
i got a 2wd and i hunt out of it, but i wouldn't lift it, if im goin to get stuck it wont really mater whether there is a lift under it or not. i think it has a lot to do with driver skills. my next truck will defiantly be a 4wd though, i just cant afford it right now...... college sucks! hahaha

Dang late too the party again for me...And very true about the fake *****/lifting 2x4's BUT...how many of the guys with 4x4's actually wheel them...or use 4x4 for anything other than driving around in snow? I have a lifted 2x4, and like too sit up high. There is also a definate advantage when it comes too traffic in two words...road presance. When there is a little car in front of you that you want too move up, a simple blip of the throttle scootch up and have the lights on, the people in front move normally very fast! lol I did my own study on road presance...drove my truck down 85/485 to my friends house at the same speed comming across the usual slow in the fast lane drivers. They pulled over a hell of a lot sooner for me in the truck. I then drove the same section in my dads 99 Tauraus Wagon (maybe cuz its a wagon) but I did not get the same reaction while tailgating...I got a brake tap like "back-off little car." Never got that in the truck

Sir, you are misinformed about college sucking. Stay in as long as you can... I have been out of school 13 years now. Have a wife, one year old daughter, and a 4x4 KR loaded screw that was paid for with cash...I still reminisce about college. Enjoy EVERY last minute of it. Money and stuff is not all that its cracked up to be. Dont get me wrong, my life is great, but college was some of the best 5 1/2 years of my life.
