Plus, the truck would wind up looking exactly the same as my 4x4 Supercrew. However, I grew up being told you lift 4x4's and lower 4x2's.
I grew up the same way, even mentioned it in an earlier post. For me, it's looks and little off road. I've always pushed every 4x4 vehicle I've owned. If I'm spending the money on 4WD, I'm going to have some fun with it.

Nice ride BTW

Who cares what someone does to their truck. If we were all the same things would be very boring.

Because the 2WD F150 was what I ended up buying from my parents at the time. If I had the choice, sure, I'd go 4wd, but the 4wd alone doesn't justify my buying a new truck. I still offroad and beat the hell out of my truck, moreso than most people I know with 4wd. I just get stuck a little more often is all. I'm in the process of putting a 12.5" lift with 38's on my F150, because I like the look of lifted trucks, could definitely use the ground clearance, and mainly just because I can.

werd...i've not heard that in about 10years! lol.

i'm stuck with the stx too. super boring on the interior. I don't think i would ever own a 4x4 much less a lifted truck...hell, i hate how high mine sits up now...especially the rear...damn thing reminds of a stink bug with it's *** all up in the air.
