Stock vs 6inch

Hey guys... does anyone have any pics of a 6inch lift along side a stock height? I saw a 6inch the other day and boy did it look huge compared to mine. Didnt think they were really that much bigger.

6" suspension lift gives you 6 more inches. Say stock you ran 31 inch tires, and with the 6" most liekly running 35s. thats 4 inches more of tires, 2 of which are under the axle gives you another 2 inches. so the frame on a 6" lifted truck on 35s will sit ~8" higher then the frame on the stock rig, depending on which lift kit is used it can vary an inch or so.

Yea 6 in will tower over the stocks, which is why you need to go with a 8" or 10" so it will skyscraper over stocks! Just think about this, if you had 31" tires on a stock truck and added a 6" lift with 35" tires, thats 10" taller than stock. It doesnt seem like much but it is!

You'd actually be 8" taller than stock because 35" is the overall diameter and the sidewall increases by 2" all the way around giving you a 4" taller tire but actually lifting the vehicle 2" because it's 2" taller on the top side as well.

I have the 2.5" AS Leveling Kit and 1.5" AS AAL on my truck with 35's and mine sits about 4.5" higher than when stock. I got 2.75" from the 2.5" AS hit and another 1.75" from the 35's.

Right... a 4X2 is about 2" lower than a 4X4, so when you put a lift on either one you make the 6" over stock.

6" = 6" almost every day of the week.
