Lightbulb Suspension lift help!!!

Aight i have a 2.5'' leveling kit on my 2005 4x4 f150. I want to get a 6'' pro comp lift. My question is can i stack my 2.5'' leveling kit with the 6'' to get 8.5? I have heard of peolple doing this. I am just making sure. Also how will the back end sit? Level? The guy at the shop im ordering my lift fom says yes i can stack em and it will sit only 3/4 of a inch higher in the front which is exactly what i want. I just need to see if anyone did this. Pictures of the final product would be appreiciated!!! Thanks

lol man i just talked to you on the phone. as far as i know (and i'll call procomp here in a few minutes) you can't stack them. the 6" lift will level the truck out.

I was asking what part of louisiana you were from because i'm from around oakdale/fort polk....

rock on and keep trucking!!!

i have seen it done. i was going to try it myself but iam sure it was going to leave a crazy *** balljoint angle, you need new UCA's with uni-***** if you want to run that type of setup. procomps spindles are too short.

if you go this route, you increase the chances of breaking your upper balljoint. hit the wrong pothole and not only will it ride like crap, it could break that upper balljoint. You usually want 1-2 inches of travel for daily driving.

ok,
here's the lowdown from procomp:
with the 6" procomp lift, you're actually rasiing the front 6" and the rear 3" (give or take a little bit) so you're going to have the difference that you want.

Personally, I had NEVER heard of stacking the leveling kits with the suspension lifts, BUT it is possible. the only thing is, IF something happens, and this is done, all warranty from pro comp is voided (according to procomp).

the guys said that it can be done, yes. is it recommended? NO. kinda like stacking body lift blocks i guess.

wow wow you cant stack a leveling kit with a procom kit it comes with a spacer that goes ontop of the coilover already. which means you would be stacking spacers and that my freind is bad idea.... its very weak and if you plan on any offroading you WILL have problems! your best bet is to get the kit with the coilovers and and crank them up you can achieve the same amount of lift that way. also i would wait after install to see how much higher the front is than the back then decide how big of an AAL you need or if you need a bigger block.

Yo

Aight so Crazy ill be sittin pretty level if i leave my 2.5'' inches on i guess then huh? Sounds like the way imma go. Now how about prices. A shop called lift kings on Ebay where i found your lift is quoting me a price of 1000 bucks plus $150 shipping with a $100 dollar mail in rebate from procomp. Can you beat that or match it?
