4x2 lift kit ?`

Ok guys I was looking for an affordable lift kit for my 04 4x2 non heritage I saw the skyjack 3inch kit but have heard some nad things what kits out there will give me no more than 4 inch of lift and be a good kit. I would like to stay under 700 for the cost of the kit.

To stay within you budget, you could combine a leveling kit and a 3 inch Performance Accessories body lift. However, body lifts are a PITA to install on the 04-07's and you will have to pay a ton of labor if you can't install it yourself.
Your other options are the 6 inch Fabtech and 6 inch Pro Comp lifts. You can usually find pretty good prices on the standard Pro Comp lift.

since the 6 inch kits seem to be my best option then which one is better and what kind of install would be needed.
