Rancho shocks with procomp lift

There are some front adjustable rancho shocks in the classifieds that I was thinking about getting to use with my procomp. Would that be bad?

The rancho's are for a stock truck 0 to+2.5in adjustable. So I would need to use the 6in procomp spacer too, is there anything bad about that? I couldn't see why it would be bad, cause its not like I would gain travel without the spacer...........right?

Also I was thinking, the procomp only raises the rear 2.5in and I think the rancho uses a similar block (anyone know?), so I could probably use the rancho shocks for the 4in lift?

Let me know what you all think.

Thanks

Since the standard Pro Comp lift uses the OEM coilover shocks, you should be able to use an OEM replacement shock. As for the rear, you should be able to use any lift block made for your truck.

But if I got the adjustable rancho's in the rear, would they be long enough? Or would they get pulled apart to much? I thought the rancho and procomp lifted the rear about the same.

You may need longer shocks for the rear. I guess you could measure the OEM rear shocks and just add the amount of lift you go with. I think the 6 inch Pro COmp system lifts the rear 4 inches and the Rancho kit lifts the rear 2 inches.

The pro comp only lifts the rear 2.5in. So would it make the truck weak to use the spacer and rancho oem replacements?

Thanks
