Pictures with leveling kits.

I am thinking about getting the autospring 2" leveling kit for my 2005 Supercrew 4x4. I was wanting to look at some pics. Also, does anyone know if they make a 1.5" leveling kit? Thanks

Yes AS (Autospring Corp) makes a 1.5" spacer along with their 2" and 2.5" spacers. The 1.5" spacer doesnt sell as well as the 2 and 2.5" so you just need to call or e-mail Autospring to purchase a 1.5" kit.

I wonder if I should go with the 2" or the 2.5" Autospring? I just dont want to make the front higher than the back? Also, would I have to get new front shocks?

What size tires are you planning on running? If your not trying to squeeze 35"s on your truck then just get the 2" kit. It will make the angles less sevre so your ball joints will last longer. And will also still give you a slight rake in the truck.

I am buying BFG All Terrians on friday 285/70/17. So you think I should go with the 2". I dont want to put the kit on there if i am going to have trouble with the ball joints and stuff. I dont drive my truck much, about 10k a year, how long will they last then? What should I do?

Yep just go with the 2" kit.. They will last a long time... No worries.. No one has really woren the ball joints out yet.. Its just knowen that they will wear faster due to the increased angles..

I agree with bushtree, the 2" kit will work fine with that size of tire.

agreed w/ brushtree- the 2" will do you great- at 10k/yr, you should be good for a good amount of time. i have had my 2.5", 1.5 yrs, on for 23k miles. just had the tires rotated, and the truck aligned yesterday- had them pay good attention to the upper control arm & ball joint, and both were tight and in good shape. my truck goes anywhere i want to go- on and off & takes more than its fair share of bumps, holes and crappy roads.
obw, there are pics in my bozeman gallery if you want to look... click my signature

Like they all said 2" should do you. I saw a black FX4 yesterday with 285's and it looked really sharp!! If your only driven about 10k a year, id say you probably have nothing at all to worry about. i drove 30k in the year i have had my truck . .

heres a pic of mine (2.5")

Dog'em, if i get the 2" System, do I need to get the 1.5" Add a leaf? I dont haul much, just pulling a trailer occasionally? Why did you get the add a leaf?
