Clunking over bumps
Found out whatwas causing most of the clunking....front sway bar. Seems soo obvious now!!
Was on vacation last week when my drivers side end link broke clean through. Well, I removed the passenger side one as well, clunk is completely gone now!! I have ordered new end links and bushings for the front sway bar from Energy Suspension. I will install and see if the clunk comes back. I have Rancho RSX9000 all around so the body lean and handling is not greatly effected. So to recap this post:
1. New lower ball joints fixed some of the clunk.
2. The real culprit was the front swaybar and end links.
If you have this same problem, I suggest changing the end links and bushings for the sway bar first.
