Joe I did my Bullseye lift this past weekend. The instructions with it say the maximum tire size is a 33x12.5 on a maximum 8.5 inch rim. But it also says fender or bumper mods may be required. I haven't bought new rims or wheels yet but I'm gonna try 33's

What did this lift cost? I would like to lift mine but don't want to spend too much. The spindle lift looks the best.

The spindles cost $539.00 from Off Road Warehouse in San Diego. With the 1 inch blocks and U bolts in the back and shipping, It was $629.00 Total. A local 4x4 shop wanted $315.00 or so to do the install. I did it myself in One day. Would've taken a lot less time had I gotten a Portable Ball Joint puller sooner. I had to stop halfway through and go to Autozone to rent one. I like the lift but I'm Gonna lift it more.

That was a suspension lift. The spindles are considered part of the suspension. I just didn't have to change springs or shocks. Body lifts are usually just little spacers.

Yeah, I want that too! how high can you go without getting new shocks also? I only want a couple of inches (don't we all?) I know, I'll problably have to get the shocks too. All the kits I see are for 4WD. I just want to get back the "clearence" I had before the running boards were installed. I don't want bigger tires. (and I'm not trying to "make up" for anything else)
Any one have input on 2WD lift kits?

Well Joe, after reading though all these threads on lifts it looks as though we 4x2 people are on our own, as you have many posts with this same question and nobody has answered you. (sniff...sniff..nobody cares about us 4x2s)

Joe, Andthensome,
I had a 3 inch body lift put on my 4X2 from OFW in San Diego. It cost $529. I have 285's tires and they fill up the wheel well. Makes my truck look mean.

Thanks, now who makes the kit and Did you do the install? I was told that if I only wanted a couple of inches I should just put bigger tires on it. I currently have the 255/70/16 that came with it. I figure by the time I need new tires I'll get the bigger ones and then do the lift if thats not enough. I was beginning to wonder what one has do for attention around here? just kidding. I guess I was just impatient.

It was alot easier when i had my bronco and just spend $80.00 for 3'inches,now it look's like 400.00 or 500.00 dollars.
I got some literiture on fab-techs 21/2
leveling kit, i will have to go that route i guess, then i can put 33's on my truck.
I thought i would have been able to get a
body lift for $120.00 and then 500.00 on
the tires, but unless some body found a cheaper and easier way i'm going to have too spend the money.

Yeah Joe looks like we'll have to get up off some hard earned "dead presidents" ...A lot of 'em. Look at it this way: "If it was easy (or cheap) every one would be doing it.

Why wouldn't a body lift for a 4x4 fit a 4x2?? The body mounts to the same holes in the frame, doesn't it? I'd probably call 4 Wheel Parts Wholesalers and talk to their techs about it. I just ordered my body lift for my 4x4 and it was $135. Patricio installed a body lift on his truck and its a 4x2. Check under the other bullseye spindle lift thread and you can get his addy.
