Well thanks for all your opinions and everything. I think I have decided to put a 35% tint on the front side windows, and a dark possibly 5% tint on the 3 back windows.

Also I have heard that there is a legal UV film that you can put on the front windshield thats not a tint but will still help keep out a bit of the sun. I will check that out too.

I'm really glad our "moms" are here to watch over us. j/k
Seriously though, after my previous post, I've done some driving and have noticed a few things. Our trucks do look good with the front two windows tinted, can't argue with that. But at night it does make it more difficult to see, added with all the f'ed up headlights (mainly blue and brown), busted turn signals (or they just aren't using them), and the fog colored cars in the fog (no offence to those who drive one).
I have thought long and hard and have decided to either go with the 75% (legal limit in CA) or none at all. With enough people out there that don't pay attention while driving, I plan to do all I can to make them visible to me.
If "you" want to tint the fronts, go for it. I'm not going to wish anything on you. I believe most who do posses the mental faculties to make a decision know whether it’s right or wrong.

Hey Norm, do you paint them on the inside or out. I think it would look cool from the outside if the inside where painted but, would look better from the inside if you painted the outside...

Gotta paint on the inside, that reduces the amount of regular maintenance due to weather, the wax job lasts longer too..

Yeah, Inside, just like the lexan bodies of RC cars, the glass is like a really thick clear coat. I just open my windows when I want to turn.

Ok I have decided to do the following...

Limo tint on all back 3 windows, 45% tint on the front 2 in smoke, and possibly a legal ultraviolet film on the front windshield.

Now my next question is, when you have the film on the front windshiled, do the defrosters work as well?

Also does the thin layer of plastic film insulate the windows any better keeping heat/cold in better?

And can you use windex/ammonia to clean the inside of the windows?

Thanks
