Want to tint Front Windows
Your not suppose to use anything with ammonia in it. Best place to get straight answers in to call "Tint Devil" out on Miramar road. They do great work and have some of the best prices. They've been around for quite awhile also. Had them do my two front windows on SuperCrew in august and I feel it made the truck look better and was definately an improvement on looking out and keeping some of the sun off the interior. Personally I think your asking for trouble from the cops with the 45 tint on the front two. But, to each there own.

35%
By front I assume you mean the front drivers & passengers windows and not the windshield. I believe that they said it was 35%. At Tint Devil they simplify the basic selection. They have four to choice from for the basic price. Light-medium-dark-limo. They said that the dark was the same as the factory back windows on our Screws. I decided to go with the medium cause I thought it would look good and not draw any unwanted attention. We did the same on our Caravan and never had any problems. Plus at Tint Devil, they give you a lifetime warrantee on product and installation. He also told me that if I were to get stopped, that they would remove it for free. Thought it was just good customer service. They do cover their butts though, and when you ask about doing the front two, the first words he said was, "you know thats illegal". Your choice from there. But I've sent half a dozen friends there and they all have had good luck with them.

dcovell, I also had mine done at Tint Devil on Miramar Rd. They do a great job. And if there is ever a problem, they take care of you right away. I had them do the windows on my Nissan Crew Cab also. No problems at all.
I had them place "medium" tint on the three back windows (over the factory tint). Then I had them place "dark" on the two fronts. Looks pretty good. I looked at it this way: Anything on the two fronts is technically a violation, so I went with something that would closely match the darkness of my rear windows. It'll take some getting used to driving at night, with the biggest problems coming from backing at night. It just requires you to take a peek behind your truck prior to backing out. But hell, with the lift on my truck I had that problem before tinting.
A "medium" tint will closely match the factory tint in the rear. If you put that on your two fronts, it should look real nice. And it shouldn't cause you too many problems with vision problems at night. It will also keep the interior cooler in the summer.
Good Luck............JB

Cool, I may go with the 35% but the back will be a limo tint. I may not do the front window with the UV film as it would be almost a 100 bucks!!!! I get some protection from the sun but I don't know anyone else with this on there front window and don't know if it's worth it or not.
