4x2... I have never been stuck in the snow with posi, and I'll never take it off the road. Plus I wanted a smoother ride and better towing. I drive a telephone line truck all day long. That's enough big truck for me!!

4x4. Only use it during winter. I don't want to be stuck at home because the snowplow left a bank at the end of my driveway. I'll do the shoveling after I'm done skiing. Heck, sometimes I don't even shovel at all (both my vehicles are 4x4's)!

Mods: Access Roll-Up tonneau cover, Ford bed mat.

 

4 X 2 in Souther CA. Limited Slip. Went to UT offroading. Never needed 4 X 4. Went with friend who stuck his 4WD Jeep in sand that I went right through. Better ride, less worry about maintenance.

 

Gotta be 4x4, for the snow in the winter and mud in the spring.

4x4, lots of hills, some off road usage, and a fair amount of snow up here in them thar hills of NE Tennessee. I have to drive pretty far up into the mountains at times, so the 4x4 is a necessity, plus it becomes our family vehicle when the snow hits, don't trust the mini van at that point.
