Um .. okay : http://growabrain.typepad.com/growab...brain_mor.html

Remember - seeing and actually having the time to do anything about it are two different things.

And if an F350 dualie loaded down with beer kegs is rapidly approaching from the rear, and you are stopped behind 3 cars at a red light, all the 20-20 vision you have will do you exactly bupkis. Think pancake. Not pleasant, eh?

BTW - I've been hit 2 times while in a pickup - too many coffee-swilling do-nut eating, shave-headed, multi-pierced, snot-sucking, diaper-filling excuses for humanty ricer 'tards in my town LOL! I think I felt a bump - once maybe .... they ALL had to get towed.

WTF? Just clicked to page down and got booted straight to the Toyota home page. Something sinister going on here.......
Hey, besides the '00 F150, I at least keep it in the Ford family. We've got an Escape, a Focus, and, well, another POS '88 F150.

Nothing to think about, got the digital readout in front of me, and adding a whole extra week plus to my commute ain't no mirage either. Smoke what ever you like coz I don't smoke anything. Besides, I did say while moving. If I could actually average 30 to 35 I would be rich quick selling products that got me to that point. Just Throttle feathering.

Cheapskate. I would have kept the truck AND gotten the ricer.

People like yhou don't deserve a truck.

Its ok if you have to make a move, but don't come on a site like this a not expect a fight. We all know what our gas milage is and how much gas is, so just go to 'Ilovemygasmilage.com'.

On the subject of car wrecks....

I owned a 00, white, 4x4, extended cab, Lariat 4x4, for seven and a half years. Put 165k miles on it and was involved in three fenderbenders. In all three accidents, I was hit from behind. Living in a big city (Dallas) forces you to drive with what seems like millions of people who are occupied with doing anything else other than focusing on their driving. I am including the previous statement to show that I was never at fault.

The first car that rear ended me received a radiator full of "Ball and Hitch." Never really felt it, but it left her on the side of the road. I did not feel bad about leaving her, because she had a cell. She never asked for insurance because she knew it was her fault. I did not ask her for hers, because she just scratched my ball. This accident was a blessing! My buddies couldn't tease me anymore about having a shiny new ball that was two years old.

The next rear ending I got was by a Mazda ( I refuse to refer to it as a truck) that dang near gave me whiplash. His front end was trashed and when he drove away, you could see the tires slightly smoking from the rubbing against the bumber. I was out a Bush 00 bumper sticker. The impact really trashed that sticker. Days later, I had to remove it. You could only read
"Bu h". I figured that since the election was three years past, and I had not paid for the sticker, insurance was not going to cover it.

The last rear ending did several thousands dollars damage to the "Victim" who hit me. They actually sctatched my chrome! Several minutes of buffing made it almost unnoticeable. I did not even mess with the plastic piece of whatever that layed atop the bumper. By now, she was an old truck, and I did not feel like waiting for a traffic report to get the 10 bucks to fix it.

When it came time for a new vehicle...what did I do? I traded her in for her sexy new younger sister with bigger... I mean more doors. I now drive an 07, KR copper Screw with 4x4.

Drive whatever you want...Whatever makes you happy...Whatever makes you feel better...Listen to the media...Trucks and SUV's are evil... My buddy who was T boned in his Honda...now drives an F150!

Good luck to you, Dode. Enjoy the ride. I wouldn't want to make a long trip in one of those little econoboxes, but whatever floats your boat. Nice job on the clever inflammatory comments. How come you didn't just get the car and keep quiet? Doubt you'll be missed.
