How to find out gears and tranny?

How would I go about finding out what my gear ratio is for my rear and front? As well as finding out what transmission I have? I've looked at the sticker on the door panel didn't help. Nothing inside the glove box. I just wanna know what gear ratio and tranny I have. Thanks

well there killer, for the gear, look on the differential. there's going to be a metal tag attached to one of the bolts holding the differential cover on. tells you what you have. in my case, it was a ford 9.75 rear end with 3.55 gears

Open your drivers side door and read the label there for starters.

hey man, i'm telling ya. i went through the whole process that you are going through. you want to know what tranny you have? can almost bet money that you have the e40d. now, moving onto what rearened you have. physically crawl under the back of your truck and look at the differential cover. there are 2 metal tags attached to the cover. it has all the information stamped on there.

If you have the 4.6L, you have 8.8". If you have the 5.4L, you have a 9.75" rear gear.

All automatics are the 4R70W.

Read your driver's door sticker for the Axle code.

1997-2003 F-150 axle codes:

19 = 3.55 open
H9 = 3.55 LSD
26 = 3.73 open
B6 = 3.73 LSD
27 = 3.31 open
18 = 3.08 open
25 = 4.10 open
B5 = 4.10 LSD

Did someone peel the sticker off or did you not understand what it said?
APT has now posted the info needed to interpret the label.
I have an 01 SCREW as well. They are all 4R70W transmissions. I have an H9 3.55 LSD.

I don't have any records of F-150's with axle coe 16. For 2007, the Expy only came with 3.31 for 2wd and 3.73 for 4x4, both open diffs. I assume 2006 was the same.

I believe the 4wd is electronic for Expy and uses the TC system to apply pressure to the slipping wheels as necessary. More like AWD vs 4WD. Could be wrong as I'm not as familiar with them
