I got mine in November of 2007 with 21 miles on it, brand new. Sticker on it was $34,695. After my trade-in it was $30k on the dot. Also I got no interest on it for my finance. A lot of people tell me that I got ripped, but you know, I love my truck and to me that's all that matters, especially since just before I got my Ford I almost got a Titan :-x

Are you sure about the 45k? I don't think a Lariat without Navigation in 2006 would have listed for near $45k. My 2008 F-150 Supercrew King Ranch listed at $45,000 and I paid $36,600. The only option I don't have that was available is the navigation. May 2007 Lariat had everything, too, and it still never hot $45k. I didn't look... are you in Canada?

Oh, and my favorite... my trade value today is at about $23,600. How's that for taking it in the kazotskaplots?

I got mine for 9 K.

Bought it from my parents, who bought it new off the showroom floor back in 2001. 120,000 miles later, they were selling. I loved that truck. So I bought it, and sold my other truck.

Its an XLT.

hmm.. this thread seems kinda iffy.. anywho.. I bought my 2008 F150 FX4 back in March 08.. listed at $40k, got it for $27.5k before ttl with only 4 miles on the clock.. got $12.5k off the msrp without a trade in.. financed at my credit union for 5 years at 4.25%..

It's pretty easy convincing your wife to get a bunch of mods when you tell her your getting over $12k off the msrp!

Currently looking at a couple of 08 XLT 2WD's with 8-10K. One is pretty standard with 5.4, one is pretty loaded up with 4.6. My target price is $18000. What do you all think? Sticker was about $35K and they are both have balane of factory warranty and the Ford Pre-Owned Certified.

Depends on what's important to you. If you plan to pull anything over 2k lbs, I'd rather have the 5.4L engine. If you're not interested in ever towing a whole lot and like the creature comforts on the other truck, then the 4.6L sounds like a good option for you. I went with the 5.4L because I have a boat, but if you're not trying to pull anything, you probably don't need the big engine. Neither of them are great when it comes to fuel economy, but I'm sure you knew that already.

Just brought it home!

After doing a lot of research, and reading a lot of posts here on this forum, I have joined the Supercrew fraternity. Here are the details, pictures to follow.

*2008 F-150 XLT Supercrew 4x2 with 7564 miles and balance of the factory
warranty with two years remaining on the 3-36. Original service date 3/08
*6.5’ Flareside Box (which is growing on me)
*Dark Blue Pearl Clearcoat Metallic with Premium Flint Two Tone Seats
*4.6L EFI V8 with 3.55 Limited Slip Axle and payload package #1B
*XLT Chrome Package with 5” Chrome Tubular Running Boards
18” Chrome Wheels, 265/60R 18 BF Goodrich Radial Long Trail T/A’s
*6 Disc CD Stereo with AM/FM and Sirius
*Trailer Tow Package and Heated Telescoping Trailer Tow Side Mirrors with
Integrated Turn Signal and Puddle Lamps (really like these mirrors!)
*Drivers Keyless Entry Key Pad (gotta get help to program)
*Reverse Sensing System
*Also included was Service Advantage Plan “Powertrain Warranty For Life” for what that may be worth. It was included with any car new or used sold at the dealership, I got to look into it, must be a big catch.

Original Sticker Price $35,165

There posted best internet special deal $18995

Price I paid before before TTL and Trade $17800 or 50% off sticker!

I traded my 1999 XLT Supercab 4x2 with 4.2 V6 and got $4000 which I was willing to take to make the deal go. Wanted $5K, but felt I got a good enough deal on the 2008.

I previously had a 2005 XLT Supercab with the 4.6L that did more than adequately towing our 3500lb boat and trailer, so I was comfortable staying with that engine. I put over 100K on that truck in a little over two years with no issues, and really loved that truck. The 5.4's were pretty bare, and the XLT Chrome Package and mirrors really got me!

My 1999 was okay, but I really wanted and newer one. I think I'm going to be real happy with my new Screw!

I paid only $6900 out the door in August. I got a great deal. I added the wheels, tool box, cb, hitch, and window tint.
