I'm not sure if by "unbelievable" you mean bs, but I can tell you there is a dealer that has locations in Austin, Houston, and Dallas, that has great prices. Every weekend since early February, they run an ad - which is almost always targeted towards trucks. I have never seen one ad for less than 10K off sticker, and on at least two occasions I saw 15K off. The deals that people are posting that are from TX are believable, based off of that. I missed the two times they were 15K off because I thought there was a catch. Then they ran an ad for 12K off, and my dad bought a 2007 4x4 King Ranch - and they did not even bat an eye. I went to the dealer about a month later when they advertised the $13.5 off. The dealer is MacHaik. The two times I was in there - once with my dad, and once to purchase my truck, was incredible. There were 3 times as many customers as they could handle. I'm not sure if their actual price is that low after dealer incentives, or there are banking on some sort of volume bonus at the end of the year, but they sell a bunch of trucks.

please

The dealers around here are just not budging at all off the X-plan price minus incentives. Is this behavior typical for this time of year? It currently comes to about $6700 off MSRP. It doesn't appear that they're very eager to get the 2007's off the lots.

I'm itching to get a new truck, but based on the deals listed in this thread it sounds like I'm getting ripped off. The truck is a lariat 4x2 w/ MSRP at $36.7k.

please

Sorry but I am calling BS on this one. You would have paid less than $28k if you got it for that price after TTL. There is no way you are getting a 2007 truck for more than $8k less than A-Plan.
