If you want to compare, you have to take off the taxes, title and licensing as those will vary by state. Anyway, I got $10k off my 2003 Screw when I bought it, MSRP $38.2k.

I have a 07' Supercrew Lariat 5.4 with 6.5 bed purchased in November 06'. It is loaded with the exception of the sliding rear window, reverse sensing, and the navigation. I got it for invoice which I believe was around $37,400.00. if you take off all the discounts and my beater trade-in my total Out the door was about $25,500.00

Yea, this is why it is very hard to figure out what kind of deal you got since some people include there trade in etc. At least you mention that your $25,500 price included a trade in, some don't and it is misleading.

Well, lets see... Sticker was right around $36k, got $3k in rebates from Ford, and another $3k in rebates from the dealer. That brought the price to just under $30k. Then add tax and license + extended warranty brought the price back up to $35k. Got $7k for the old truck, so that brought my total out the door to around $28k.

I almost hate to post this, but here goes.. New 05 Screw, 4.6l, 5.5 bed, Texas Edition, which means the 6 cd changer, "premium cloth seats" - whatever that means - running boards, dark tint and probably a couple things I'm leaving out.. MSRP was $31,195.. now this is the fun part I was browsing dealer websites and found this thing listed as an "internet special".. the discount for printing out the page and taking it in to the dealer was $3,900.. plus $4,500 rebate, $1,000 "bonus discount" and $1,500 "bonus cash".. so $20,295 before tax and bs charges.. it was under 23K with no trade in, and I was in a position to pay cash (which I found out kinda freaks them out)..
The salesman I showed the printout to said this can't be right..lol.. 2 managers looked at it didn't think it was right either.. they finally called in the web-master lady and she explained that SOMEONE had approved it, so they had to honor it.. they WERE nice enough to throw in the extended warranty at no charge also..
So like I tell everyone who's shopping for a vehicle, take a look at the dealers website if possible, you don't know what you might find!

Mine stickered at $36,750. I paid $28,300 (not including tax, title, tags), and after my trade, cash-out-of-pocket was $24,200. Mine's a 2005 XLT 5.4L 4x4 Screw not loaded, but with quite a few extras (auto pedals, auto mirror, bed liner, upgraded tires, a few other things).

07 Lariat SC, loaded.
MSRP $43360.00
Xplan cost $39160 minus $3000.00 rebates = $36190 out the door.
