Hell I just uploded a superchips tuner X-caliber adjusted shift parameters, tire size, and rev limiter...and man what a difference.

Guess someone is still going to say get a sports car anyway....

I don't think I'm the only one here who has noticed, but the 2007 F-150's are noticeably quicker than the previous models. This is my 7th F-150, so I have a little experience. My 2005 FX4 was a slug compared to my 2007 FX4.

My 2007 SCrew reacts a lot more like my Expedition. No delay when you step on the gas, and the transmission shifts smooth as silk. And, it's soooo quiet.

I didn't buy a 5400 pound truck to race sport cars, but now Mustangs and Magnums can't get past me between lights. Feels... nice.

I don't think that my 2007 SCREW 5.4 is slow at all, for a vehicle as heavy as it is! Tonight I had a dude at a stop light next to me in a new model Mustang, Yeah it was a V-6, but he could not get past me when it turned green!

Wow, I'm impressed! I only have 200 mi. on mine, but kind of expected what my 04 Reg. cab would do, which was enough. Not a race car or truck. The Lariat is so quiet, smooth and rides great. I like it much better than what I had. If I have the need for speed, road noise and want to listen to the whine of a blower, I drive my Lightning. I think I have the best of both worlds.

yep....

Mines been on the floor since I left the dealership back in 05'.....there ain't nothin fast about a 6 thousand pound truck.......so using fast and ford truck in the same sentence kind of makes me chuckle. ...I traded a Corvette Z06 for mine.....I wanted a truck and got a truck.....the trucks too heavy to be quick... mod it all you want...the only thing you're going to outrun is other trucks........if you want fast....get something else....if you want a truck that rides like a cadillac get a ford screw.........

They won't be fast. No doubt. Put a tuner on, and it will perform like it should. Yours is a nice ride I'm sure, but with a tuner, the response is now. Money well spent. Too many people confuse sports car fast with normal performance expectations. My truck isnearly 6Klbs. but the performance pre-tuning was terrible. Our old Yukon weighed nearly the same with less hp and was better. Not anymore. Get a chance, I'd say try it. At least then, you'd have a smooth ride and some performance. So really, you missed the point.
