Drifting in a Screw
Drifting in a Screw
Well not like the imports
more like when you get hit with a cross wind.
When I first bought my used 02 last year it would drift alittle in a cross wind on the freeway. So I then stop by a front end place for an alignment but the idiot said I needed the special bolt and washer on the a-arm to adjust it so I never got it re-aligned. Got to looking on the supension and what do I see it's already has them.....not going back to that place again.
Anyhow I jack the wheel off the ground and give each wheel a little wiggle and they wiggle back. I guess when the P/O had a break job they didn't tighting the wheel bearing nut enough. So now they don't wiggle anymore and the truck doesn't drift either
One of the cotter pin was started in the 12 o'clock postion and the other was started in the 6 o'clock postion
Maybe the P/O had it done at the same alignment shop
