Nope, I don't have that problem, but when walking around in my bed it does seem to squeak and groan under my weight and I'm 220 lbs and my last truck didn't do it.

could be the tailgate...mine did it once the other day driving back from the airport in cold weather, and i just opened it, rolled the little sleeves on the tailgate mounting rods around and shut it back and no squeek since...

could also be your hitch if you have one in...

Take it back to the dealership.. Let them worry about it. And if they dont fix it keep taking it back until they do..

Check that spare tire, maybe it's not tight up in the hole.
I've seen a few spare tire's on the side of the road with what's left of the the cable and hook too. Big suprize when some dude has a flat and only see a busted cable.

My 06'' S.Crew does the same thing over certain bumps and such.
Not a big deal to me, it is a truck ...

If it is a squeak it may be the tailgate. Go shake just the tailgate and see if it does it. If it does spray some lube on the latch and strikers. That took care of mine.

Me too....

My '06 SCREW has just over 1200 miles on it. Yesterday I noticed a squeaking type noise. Ticked off when I reached the house, I slammed the door just a bit harder than normal and could tell it's coming from the drivers side rear...somewhere.

I'll check the above suggestions. It's set to go back to the dealer on Monday. Maybe I can avoid the trip. Thanks!!!!

I found the source of my noise. In the bed there are two seams that run the length of the bed. Apparently where those seams meet up the paint from either side was sticking so as I walked on the bed it was the crackling/popping sound. I walked around the bed enough till it stopped. I'm assuming where the two pieces of metal met up it just rubbed off the paint a little or the inside piece settled to a position where it wouldn't flex and make noise against the adjoining piece.

bed noise

i have new 2007 .
i live in cold weather and snow area , after heavy snow bed made lots of noise .
found it was snow and ice between the bed and the cab, havent found the ideal way yet to keep it out or remove it when its there .
very tight between the bed and cab, i need a long plastic or rubber type rod to push down there to remove it .
or i guess i could just go to power washer when its nasty out lol

but seriously it sounds bad and is prob scratchin the paint off between there.

Anyone else had this problem????
