Mounting a Flashlight?

Have any of you mounted a flashlight inside your truck/SuperCrew?
If so, would you care to share some pictures, installation suggestions/ideas?

Thanks in advance.

p.s. I tried to perform a 'search' fisrt but nothing came up.

I had a Flashlight - Fire Extingusher mount in my gallery. It's just forward of the console. There was no drilling the truck to mount it. PS you can't drill foward of the console in a S'crew, the heating ducts are there!

check out this mount:

There's another picture I've seen on this board of a light mounted on the left of the drivers seat on the floor and they tapped into the electric seat power for the recharger.

I mounted my rechargeable Maglite on the side of the driver's seat and ran the power to the fuse box in the driver's kick panel area.

2020is, Yours might be the one I saw earlier, and I just remembered it wrong. Nice install, that's where I will put mine when I get enough money to buy a Maglite rechargeable.

Chris, I have a Maglite just like the one in your picture that I carry in one of the bins behind the backseat - not the most convenient spot. Where did you get the clips to hold your Maglite and did you have to drill any new holes or were you able to use something already there. Thanks, Roger.

Last time I checked, around a C note. Although I have heard from a buddy they can be had for around 80 bucks on sale.

I also have mine under the rear seat. There is a hole directly beneath the seat back that my flashlight slide into. I have a Eveready Double Barrel flashlight in there.

Rogone...

I got the clips from Academy, I think?

You can also get them from Home Depot, Lowes or a good sporting goods store. As for the mount, I predrilled the holes small, then used self tapping screws. Fits like a champ.

I did this because I never plan on moving the darn thing and when I ever go to sell her, I doubt two little holes will draw any attention or cause a stink.

As I said, it is very convenient and keeps it out of the way!

Later,
Chris

Thanks Chris. I don't know what or who Academy is but I'll check at Home Depot.
