Question which gauges with a supercharger?

Hey there,

I'm looking to add gauges to the truck, I might wait for black friday so there could be deals?

this is what I had in mind:
-Pillar Gauge Pods $65
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/pp...-150/year/2006
-Boost/Vacuum Auto Meter 1471 $55
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/atm-1471
-Air/Fuel Ratio Auto Meter 6178 $300
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/atm-6178
-Fuel Pressure Auto Meter 3363 - $207
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/atm-3363/overview/
Total gauges and pods $627

which brand, model should I get? where do you buy your gauges?

I did that pod, a boost, afr, and wideband.

That pod is flimsy, but I couldn't find another...Bought everything through ebay.

I have that pod aswell.. The screw it came with was too big so I ended up using a long deck screw. Also the bottom of the pillar where it sits on your dash was too narrow. I put a piece of foam in between the frame and the pod to push it out towards the bottom. Looks good now!

how to read these gauges?
what should it not exceed?

I wish there would just be a single unit such as the edge and that would show you things and will beep if something goes wrong..
how can you drive and look at these gauges at the same time..

aeroforce gauges give you a multiple of options.
IMO air/fuel is probably most important

Here's my set-up. Had to fab the pillar pods myself

The console pod looks pretty nice.

And probably worth mentioning with any of those pods that they may require trimming behind them for gauge clearences

Hey, Crash, a price please on the two-gauge pod to the left of gauge cluster, and I guess I would need to see a pic of it installed to make sure that the two gauges are visible past steering wheel "spoke" and turn signal stalk.....

Sport90, lets see a much bigger photo of your mutant pillar pod! That thing is wild! I want to keep my grab handle for hoisting my decrepit *** up into my FX4, but I'd like to get two gauges on the pillar......Looks like you got a way to do it.....

Here's my lastest setup. Doing away with the Roush vent pod. Picked up a dual gauge pod for over the radio. $22 not bad. I'll end up with 5 gauges. Thinking about twin a/f's myself. One on each bank and the EGT all located on the a pillar. Then trans temp and boost/vac on the center dash pod. Or I may place the trans temp where the coin holder is and install a water temp gauge and boost/vac on the center dash pod.

Thanks. I'll update once she's complete. I really want to mount the Trans temp gauge where the little coin holder is. It's not highly visable but it's not a gauge that needs constant attention. I'd rather have a water temp gauge next to boost gauge in the center pod.

so I should get 1 pillar pod on the left with 3 slots right?

-vac/boost + A/F + fuel pressure or EGT?
-how much for the pod on the left?
-how can you make the gauges installation easier? which adapters are needed?
