Thanks for the info CRASH.

When I read about the sparkplug issue and that it specificaly tells what sparkplug to use in the procharger manual, which was not followed. I aint no mechanic but, I know enough to read a manual and follow its instruction.

I think that made my decision.

Anybody know a good dyno in the south caroloina area?

This is what I got for $365.00... And it irritates the hell out of me. I can't stand it that they don't line up. That's about 2-3" off from side to side.

I'm surprised that this guy apparently can't tune on highly modded vehicles. Everyone that waits on their little email tunes think he's the greatest and wait 10 months for em. I already didn't like how he ran his business from the little I knew

Edit: watch the language, please

I new troyer was a sham when he tried to sell me aftermarket fuel lines that were the same size as stock...

prediction. the guy that flushed $15k hires an attorney and flushes another $5k.....and it goes nowhere.

Crash, i have told you before, you just dont post things that could get legal, you give away your power and defense.

wow, $15 to $20k on a 97, 4.6 with 2v heads and he is upset over exhaust alignment and 15 dyno pulls.

The worst part of it was I lost a TON of bottom end power! And he cut up my Borla so I couldn't replace it to get the power back! What a HACK!

No I said troyer has more knowledge tuning trucks then you and I do. You use Mark, I use outside sources. I never tell anyone to get a troyer tune after I got mine unless they have a ROUSH blower. I have yet to hear any bad reviews of his ROUSH setup with ported blower. I tell everyone my whipple tune sucked ***, even made a review thread of all 3 stating so. I then go on to say that JDM and VMP are better. I have a tune from all 3. JDM is my favorite for power, VMP for street.

Slow to get mad because I didn't know I was getting ripped off, and I was blamed for being the cause of the failure. Troyer talks a good talk. But it blew up, and once I got another engine in it, it was tuned to 9:1 which means he tuned it with the boost leak Crash found. No wonder he pulled 15 times.

After all this, I called Crash, and until he looked at the invoice, I didn't know how bad I got screwed. I am not a tech.

Next Friday my truck should be ready at the garage with a ported blower from Stieg and the custom tune from Troyer (along with the 2.8 pulley and all the mods I have on it) so I can give you a review if you wish but how can I tell if it sux or not since I have nothing to compare the Troyer tune with?

I used to have an edge tuner before getting the Roush blower with a custom tune from php and the tune was day and night from stock

edit: my custom tune took over 5 months to get ready and I had to call and email so many times to get it processed..
