Well thought IDE open this thread up.

Got me long block sitting in the shop. Once we get this
Xmass / New year over its getting ripped apart and the fun begins.

Only thing I need now are Pistons / Rings.

Still searching for that knock down, Stock sized Manley piston set.

Not sure on head work either. Mmm the options are endless.

Finally got the engine on the stand.

Forged crank. The pots look real real good. Still have the factory hatching Visable.

Heads: So light the kids could carry them. No tell tale marks. All 8 CC's look the same, Valves all look good.

Newer Spark plug design.

Will make a dedicated thread once the New Years over. Thinking about sending the heads to BBR for a CNC job with SS valves the business.

I've had some talks with the guys at BBR and they seems pretty cool. Good luck with your build! I keep tinkering with the idea of doing a built motor but the trucks sooo damn heavy.

Which is why you need a built motor.

Javier: I noticed them slugs for sale thanks fella. TBH if they ain't good enough for his new build then they ain't good enough for mine. The problem is one bad piston and its the obsolete design. I will just hang around on eBay for a new / used set. Looking to go Flat tops as a 'Head Job' will probably add cc's to the Combustion chamber.

IRONSIN: BBR looks like a decent place. CNC heads look great. Not sure on the Big $2.6k+ 'Head job' now.

Heavy you say? So are the rest of the 1/2 tons around here exept I will have 100's more HP at the wheels. That's the exact point of my build.

TwinScrew: Look forward to your input on this build. Same goes for the other knowledge guys / gals on here.
