Your a/f is great if its steady through the rpm band. However if the O2 sensor the dyno shop is using is not calibrated for the 10% ethonal that's in our fuel then you are actually a little lean and more along the lines of a high 11 and low 12. That's not horrible on 8psi but still a tad lean. On another note the fact that you had a quarter tank of 87 in it may play a part. That about seven gallons of fuel diluting the 91 or 93 you added. The knock sensors may be pulling timing which will hurt you. As an example the whipple kit had warnings all over it to fully drain the tank and not to add any new higher octanes until this was done. Just a thought.

And yes fatherford is right about the burn out video. You can't base your performance on that. But since you asked I figured i'd post it as an example of a 2wd like yours on 8psi without any other upgrades.

Yeah I wasn't trying to hate on your burn out video, hope it didn't seem like that

I just know on some surfaces, I can punch it and do a huge smoke show... Where others I hook better then I do at a nice sticky track.

Here it is!

I also talked to JDM again because I was going to buy a 3.0 pulley to swap out, but Jr. said I would be on the edge of the fuel injectors and possibly run lean on the top end, so I did not get it on his advice. I guess I'll have to be happy with what I have. I'll be trying to get my gears done this week too.

Torque seems way off.. The dyno operator must not have been able to lock into 3rd.

He is correct, you will be right at that limit of the fuel pump, the injectors are at their limit with the 2.87.

There are guys doing the 3.0 and getting away with it, while others require a boost a pump.

Troyer is a good guy in my book. Although part throttle I like my VMP tune more. WOT I think Troyers pulls better. I dunno with gas going up and the truck is my daily I try to keep it at 2000RPM and down for drives to work anyway lol.

I'm just going to try to tweak the set-up I have and enjoy it. It's better than 90% of the 150s out there and 98% better than the cookie-cutter boxes w/wheels!

by the time you add electric fans, gears, and when you do long tubes you will have a stout 400rwhp truck.

I still say give it a few months and you will make a thread...

"what fuel system should I go with?"

That's funny!! And maybe true, but I doubt it; I already know what fuel system I want!

Nah, the e-fan and gears will be it for now. After this week, I won't even be here to enjoy the truck and from the sounds of it, it may be 6-12 months before I'm back.

By Fri. it should be close minus the fan.

Change the gears 3.55 to 4.11 and a little custom tuning.
