New Metco Overdriven Crank Pulley
There is nothing false on the Whipple end. The 3.25 provides 6-8psi depending on how the truck is setup. The 3.125 provides 8-10psi and the 3.00 can get you 10-12. Have you bothered to call Whipple? Aho's tunning are you running? Have you checked your bypass valve? What gauge are you using to determine boost and where is it reading from?
Batn68 , I understand you say that with the 3-inch top pulley gets 5 to 6 psi of boost with a supercharger whipple 5.4L engine in the 3 V? , I ask this question because I have my FX4 2007 on the dyno and we are going crazy because I can not get more than 5 psi with a 3.25 inch pulley, now, to buy this supercharger, the provider indicates 8 psi of boost, then this is not true, if you need a 2.8 inch pulley to 7 psi, the sales information Whipple is false, correct me please to understand and clarify my doubts, thank yo
Ok, thanks for your prompt reply, first I must inform you that I live in Venezuela, South America, and I think the mechanic performing the work know what you are doing but I like to be completely sure of what I do, there they ask you, by the fact of living here I have some spare parts and technical constraints, unfortunately, the problem of the fuel we need to resolve with 2 pumps in parallel, tomorrow I hope to have them installed and again to the dyno to schedule a personalized, but I worry about the drive, send an email to Whipple but still does not respond, the boost values directly indicates the dyno, if a newly arrived Whipple as the USA, I have dual 2.5-inch X, I have not checked the valve of derivation.
