New Metco Overdriven Crank Pulley
It was more like 5-6 psi I think with the stock 3" upper and lower, then added the 2.8" upper and had it dyno tuned and was hitting about 7 psi, then had it ported, maybe a .5 psi increase but definitely louder.. I then got a slightly larger overdrive crank pulley at 6% I believe and with the 2.8" upper and headers (installed this spring) I would hit/just touch 10 psi as it shifted, but it definitely touched 10, this was on a good cool day but a constant 9 psi for sure during the summer. I now have 12 psi with the 2.8 inch upper and the metco lower. So I would say 9 before the metco pulley and 12 now for sure.

I've decided I'm buying OBX longtubes(finally!) next month then I'll up the boost.
Pretty sure I'm going to need to invest in bigger injectors when I do this also.
Going to put my 3.55 gears back in most likely and run 26" slick. I want to see a damn 11!

You dont know how many times I thought about swapping out rear ends with the wifes truck for her 3.73's because I paid too damn much in the first place to change the gears back to 3.55.
here is a picture of the aluminum nub that was shredding my belt and crank pulley. I used a dremel with a metal grinding bit and in less than ten minutes or so we were back in action.

here is the metco pulley in action with the meziere electric water pulley. Lots of space due to the E-fans opening up plenty of room for easy access to front of engine, main reason I got them, any power to rear wheels was secondary for me.

I'm also curious, has anyone attempted an 8 rib setup?
I know all the older F-150's/exped's had an 8 rib pulleys.... I would personally love to go to an 8 rib setup along with this pulley. 14-15lbs of boost and no belt slip..... Sounds sexy.

I checked them against rock auto for new parts and looks to be rather affordable if you do not include the crank or any other part that may be sourced cheaper or already on hand. I just need to track down an 8 rib pulley for the jackshaft on the magnuson.
i came across two part numbers for the a/c pulley the YB-542 and YB-522, not sure which one would be right for the conversion.

Thanks, I emailed them yesterday about it, they responded back saying this was for the GM version of the jackshafted magnusons, does not know if it will fit the Ford version of the jackshafted magnusons, I kind of think it will but I have to check with magnuson sometime next week.
cool, I got a list of parts and a rough price of 362.00 which includes the belt. These prices were from rock auto for the pulleys and innovators for the supercharger pulley and summit for the belt. Will check around but don't see it getting much cheaper, unless I go to a salvage yard, but I don't like the cold so that will most likely not happen anytime soon.
I bet you can sell yours and still have some change left over after getting a metco, but innovators does make a bigger one, something like 18% over in the 8 rib but you would have to get a meziere water pump with the KB pulley.
O.K. guys...here is a real quick video of my boost gauge showing you what we have running now. I have a question for the ones doing this for a while...In the video you see my boost levels drop and go up not necessarily during the shifts but while climbing up through the rpms, is this belt slip or is it normal? I just got the digital gauge and was use to the old needle type where it wasn't showing the levels alternate up and down that much.. also note how quick it hits 10 psi once I mash the gas...

Batn68 , I understand you say that with the 3-inch top pulley gets 5 to 6 psi of boost with a supercharger whipple 5.4L engine in the 3 V? , I ask this question because I have my FX4 2007 on the dyno and we are going crazy because I can not get more than 5 psi with a 3.25 inch pulley, now, to buy this supercharger, the provider indicates 8 psi of boost, then this is not true, if you need a 2.8 inch pulley to 7 psi, the sales information Whipple is false, correct me please to understand and clarify my doubts, thank yo
