Install Whipple supercharger and not passes of 5.2 psi of boost. What is it? .

Hi, I have installed my Whipple supercharger, pulley diameter is 3.25 inches, are on the dyno, and although there is a problem of inadequate gas flow, which we solve with 2 gas pumps, the drive is no more than 5 psi . I have installed the injectors 39 pounds and is 90 mm MAF, the programmer is an SCT X3 and the results on the dyno are about 315 HP, a number quite poor, of course, I am aware that the gas flow is not appropriate but, because the impulse does not rise. Do you think might be happening? . Please someone who can help.

If you're only generating 5 psi of boost, I'd check to find out if the boost bypass valve isn't closing all the way. You may have to remove the supercharger to determine that.

Like I said in the other thread to you. GET THE GAS PROBLEM SOLVED FIRST. Inadequate gas flow = engine blown up. This may actually solve your low boost issue. If the truck cannot get enough gas it will not rev high enough thus not spinning the supercharger fast enough for more boost. You should be around 380RWHP

Ok, Michael Whipple Malicoat says: OK. Elevation dropped 1psi You About. the exhaust dropped 2 psi You About
We are finishing the problem of flow of gas, next Tuesday, I think, if everything went out well, there, confirm that the problem was resolved gasoline, aware of the great limitation we have with this particular problem and then let's try a pulley 3 "to go up 8 or 9 psi, taking into account the conditions of my truck. Michael agrees.

His response doesn't seem to address this. I could see dropping 2psi for exhaust at much higher boost levels, but at 8 psi? But if you're having a/f problems, you need to get that sorted out first. Has the PCM been calibrated for the larger injectors and aftermarket MAF? An off the shelf X3 is not going to get you there. It has to be programmed by a tuner that has access to SCT's Advantage software, i.e. custom tunes.

If the final value of 315 HP is a product of incomplete programming, it is still necessary to reschedule a personalized melody to get to the real numbers, we now have 8 to 10 degrees backward, and solve the gas flow I'm sure to get adequate numbers to your heart's content ..

Sounds like the tuner has zero experience with tuning trucks like ours. I would get a custom email tune from say JDM and be on your way

Unfortunately I can not go to Troyer and I do not live in USA, I live in South America, however, I have the hope that come tomorrow Tuesday the pieces to solve the problem of petrol and we plan to run the custom melody for pulley 3.25 "and then, according to the numbers we get, install a pulley 3".

We have reviewed all the vacuum lines to ensure there are no leaks or abnormal aspirations, so far, we found no problems, we believe the explanation of the cause is what gave us Michael Whipple, even when I have the doubt because, where I live, and this dyno is located 720 meters above sea level, this represents a loss of 1 psi for admission, and as I have true dual diameter X 2.5 inches without a catalyst, I lose another 2 psi, from there the 5 psi of boost, now, with this same configuration, being at sea level will happen, will increase the boost and I'm not going to lose 1 psi for admission, and if I go to 3 "pulley, I will have 11 psi of boost?.

You dont have to live in the USA for an email tune. Just an SCT Xcal 3 and an email address and youd be set. SCT is what they should be tuning your truck with anyway!
