if it's a pre '-6 stock quad cab it's a low 15 second truck bone stock I'd love to race one

you'll be fine with a 2# pulley and tune from Troyer

Yeah the auto's kill those trucks. Change out the torque converter and a few other bolt ons really wake those trucks up.

I ran a 4 door SRT10 which I beat. I didnt run away and hide but I did pull on it. Never tried a single cab short bed though.

When I went to the track with AZLOC a guy had a newer SRT10 quad cab and ran a 14.2 with catback and stock everything else. I dont know if he has traction problems with the huge 22s he had though.

I use my truck to stimulate the economy. I put gas in it which creates jobs. I wash the mud off which also creates jobs. $24.00 invested in the clean up so far.

BTW gas mileage sucks. Should of got a V6.....

I'm not 100% on this, but all of the Lightning's at the local dealer (when they were new) had tow packages on them, I think it was standard. They are also rated to tow 5000 pounds. Not to bad considering my truck is only rated @ 6000 pounds.

I would really like to go to a lightning, but I need at least a supercab and 4x4. So like many others on here, I think I'll make my own

The Foose is a really nice truck, they seem to have a few around here with a not to bad price either.

Does anyone know if they have the same block and compression as the NA 5.4's?

There is no longer a factory low compression engine being made. If they did indeed lower the compression they will have done it on their own. All the truck 5.4 3 valve engines share the same internals.

i sort of took one a while back, but i think its poor driving that was his downfall. i took him off the line, and he did eventually pull on me. they have alot of umph but with a squirrelly truck and and a stick, it takes some skill to translate that power into speed....
