That SRT10 in the video had some suspension work done, shorty headers, intake, and I think that is it. He did some more suspension work after that and says it stick like a **** now, but he is selling it now $22,500 if anyone is interested.

Mustangs aren't sports cars. Mustangs aren't even in the same league with sports cars, though some of the high models attempt to cross into the category they aren't sports cars.

Maybe you ought to reconsider the word ignorant, and where you aim it?

In his video he got smashed by a srt10 truck and he has a roush at 9psi supposendly. 14.5 was @ 8psi and with no traction. I raced with 10PSI and my race was the exact opposite of that. Guestimate with current truck and traction id be low 13s but still. Driver mod FTW I guess on the SRT he raced.

He Won? He smoked you, and you have a 5.4 with an SC? I think you need to hit the dyno.

A mustang of any sort is a pony car.

It is by no means a sports car.

your treading on thin waters farher ford. maby the gt is. but thats fighting words to alot og people. the 120.000 dollar GT-40 is a "super car" as by definition it was made to compete in lamans with Ferrari's and lotus's and so on. yes the mustang is refurred to by Ford as americas pony car. but also refurred as americas sports many times. I would love to foward your message to Carrol Shelby at C.S.C inc and see what he thinks. I am done on this issue to anyone I offended...sorry. but I simply dissagree in racing my truck. this is a decussion forum and that was my openion. if I do anything to my truck it will be in the way of towing capasity...hints truck. if theirs a tuner mod to make it get a little better gas mileage while Im at it then im all ears.

The driver of the SRT10 can drive. I was on the 2.93" pulley (~8psi). I had just put my lift and traction bars on. I didn't expect it to spin like it did, in fact, I did'nt know I was spinning unitl it grabbed 2nd I could feel the rear end get loose. A well driven SRT10 regular cab is a easy easy mid 13 second ride. My truck at best is a high 13 second ride most likely 14's.

And what would the dyno prove? I spun through 2nd and let out way early, I wasn't going to catch him. I knew if I had a chance to beat him it would be off the line and try and hold it, well we can see that didn't happen.

I weigh in at over 6000# in my truck, what should I be making in the 1/4 ole wise one?

EDIT: this was with the 3.1" pulley making about 6-7psi.

Probably a very accurate statement. I hope to get to the track this year and possibly the dyno. Dyno does do much for me, $75 to find out the numbers which people will question anyways aren't worth it in my opinion. Track times is where it is at. I just hate running my big ole mudders down the track.....fast car guys hate it so I like to wait until the end of the season when the track temps are down and the fast guys stay home

Raw performance does not define a sports car. Sports cars aren't pony cars, muscle cars or many of the import racers. Your SVT is designed to be a high performance pony car, not a sports car.

It takes a lot of gall to call others ignorant when you can't even spell 5th grade level words. Don't dig yourself a deeper hole.

I think a sports car would be more like a viper or something that can actually make turns, most mustangs cant do much but go straight, however here in arizona all the roads are straight so it works out good.

Sports cars in my book off the top of my head:
SRT10 Viper
Z06/ZR1 Vette
