Well, I pulled the trigger

Ordered the Roush supercharger about 15 minutes ago. I was wanting a Whipple but couldn't pass up a deal I found on eBay. $4333 shipped for the Roush intercooled kit with the 2007 F150 supplement kit. I wasn't ready to buy but I just couldn't pass it up. I will not be installing right away as I want to do some other things before I jump into it, but the time will come soon enough. At least I will have it to look at until I am ready to install. I need to do some more reading and such and would like to be prepared fully to install it. So once I get the kit I will look it over and really get a good idea on what I have in front of me. I am no stranger to supercharging n/a motors. I did a Kenne Bell install on my 2001 Mustang GT about 4 years ago. Loved it and can't wait for the truck to feel the same.

I will keep everyone updated with pics and such as I get things. God I can't wait to feel the boost.

Congrats!

It won't feel like a Kenne Bell mustang... but it'll be good.. I promise that.

mrpositraction, congrats on your kit. The same thing happened to me. I was getting the Whipple and ran into a deal similiar to yours and went with the Roush. You'll enjoy it.

Matt, with him building the bottom end, my guess is he's going in the other direction, +4 or +6.

Anybody mount their intercooler in a different location? I am looking for ideas. I don't like the idea of inbetween the radiator and condenser. I am thinking about above the trans cooler much like whipple mounts theirs.

Thanks for the pics, that is exactly what I had in mind. Now if I can find an intercooler for a decent price I will be all set.
