Roush Charger install

well I am going to post pics of the progress of the Roush charger install over the next few days. I took this week off for Thanksgiving to do the install at a slower pace.

Day 1
After working the 12 hr night shift I get home and cant wait to start the install. So like a dummy I do(note to self take nap next time).

This is my starting point

air intake removed, fan and fan shroud removed and upper radiator hose

removing intake, and yes a 6'4" man can fit in the engine compartment

intake removed

That's awesome Huitt, I love it when folks install these themselves. I couldn't muster up the courage to tear my engine down and do it myself.

Good luck with it!

Congrats on doing it yourself.... it isn't as hard as some may think and once you have done it, you will have alot more satisfaction. And once you have done one, you will have alot more confidence to in your abilities. Plus, you will know when something isn't right in the future (hard to explain). Sleep.....been there....you think "I can't believe I made that mistake" LOL! Who wants to wait!! I finally decided to get supercharger for one of my mustangs and my mechanic (no time myself) said it would be two weeks to get it done. I am like....TWO WEEKS!! I can't wait that long. He was like "Listen, you kicked around the idea for one year, now you can't wait two weeks?" NO!!! Well I could but, I want to to drive it, I want to drive it now!!! Like a kid at christmas! hehe

Congrats, I can't wait to see your pictures and how you do it. Keep us posted

Don't foret to change the plugs while the intake is off. A little easier that way. I didn't get the plugs until later and wish I had done them with everything out of the way..DUH! Doing it yourself you're going to know its done right! You're going to love it when its done!
