That's awesome. I didn't know that.

The install seems pretty straight foward..

Lets get some track time now!

1. Supercharger
2. Sparkier COPs
3. Long tubes
4. Custom exhaust

Get a nice custom tune on a dyno and you'll be set.

Get a pair of drag radials too.. already got the trac bars to keep that rear planted.

by: ONE04FX4 not sure about now but i remember a few years back that a whipple had oil that was to be put in a front resevoir on the blower itself that lubed the bearings.
My Whipple has the oil fill on the blower as well, so that is still current info.

The wife took it for a spin and laid two black marks in front of the house then fish tailed it powering out of a corner.....sheesh you watch she will want one next.....
My wife rolled her eyes when I was getting the install done, but every now and then I'll be talking to her on the cell phone while she's driving and hear the blower winding up. She's laid a good amount of rubber out as well. I don't think they appreciate the little things we do for them.

well tonight we were coming home from my daughters HS playoff game and we came across the local 1/4 mile track. So the wife says lets go watch. We get in there and I find some of the mustang guys I know and the next thing I know I have a number on my windshield . Well I am a bit rusty, been about 20yrs since I raced at a track and my RT showed it. Ok so the first run was a 15.41, second was 15.28 - now I had tire spin through 1st gear and partially through 2nd on those two runs. so the next 3 runs I started in 2nd gear and got 14.66, 14.69 and 14.68. Not to shabby for a screw that had my daughters band uniform and trumpet in it..lol Well we had to wait about 45 minutes in the staging lane due to some ricer chunked a rod and soaked the track. So my motor was cooled down, temps dropped another 10 degrees, so i thought I would leave a split second early to work on my RT and what do you know I freakin redlighted but I posted the best time at 14.57. So now i need to find a cheap set of 17's to put some drag radials on and get my TP tune to raise my rev limiter and see if I can get into the 13's. Man it was a awsome rush I cant wait to play hooky on a friday night to do this again

What were your 60ft times and mph? The mph is what really tells you what kind of power youre running. Great right up btw.

Awesome! Do just that; get a pair of cheap 17" wheels cast aluminum (they're the lightest), and a set of drag radials... air em down and launch like you mean it.

I'll bet money you hit high 13's with good traction..

my 60 ft times were 2.33 avg with my lowest one 2.22, traction being a major issue. The MPH on the 1/4 run was a consistant 95 MPH +/- .5mph.

Wow!

Seriusly get some 17" wheels and some drag radials/slicks. I would imagine you under 2 seconds in the 60'... around 1.85 is my guess. That would drop your ET to really low 14 seconds.. with the TP tune and new pully, and slicks you'll be into the 13's easy.
