Just put in my order for a pulley upgrade and tune........

Well, after reading around and figuring out ol M.T. knows what he is talking about when it comes to the Roush tune and supercharger for this truck, I decided on a little upgrade. Starting with the 8psi lower pulley upgrade and I'm sending my X2 out tommorow to get reprogrammed for the pulley AND all of the improvements he offers for the Roush tune. He said the stock tune doesn't allow the engine to have full throttle/boost off the line and sort of rolls on it as you gain speed. He said after the tune, the truck should be able to have instant boost off the line . He also changes a few other things that have griped me since day 1, mainly in their trans tuning. I will then run some datalogs with the wideband and the X2 and send those back to get the thing fine tuned. Hopefully it will be a nice increase until they ever decide to release the intercooler upgrade......

Sweet, can't wait to see your numbers. Is your set up going to be okay running 8 psi with no intercooler? I remember reading that those Roush chargers get HOT.

Yeah, it should be ok. The IAT is on the charge air side, so on hot days, it should pull timing accordingly.

Nice, I'll be doing my pully, injectors, plugs and MAF upgrade on Friday. I'm ramping up to 10psi. After this is done, I'm finished with the performance upgrades... for a while at least.

What are you gonna do about the exhaust system ? If you don't change it with a less restrictive one it will block your HP numbers.

I've had the Roush offroad exhaust on for quite some time now. No problems there.
