So basicly you are going to pay around 6grand for the intercooled version....

I'd go ahead and get the trilogy setup sinse it comes with injectors if you wanted to stay eaton...

For the price of the intercooled roush/triology, I would go ahead and get a whipple while they are now shipping.

From what I understand, the Roushcharger is a Magnacharger, and a Magnacharger is a modified Eaton. I absolutely love mine. The blower whine is pure giggles.

Supposedly the intercooled Roush will have 40lb injectors. I think it's a great blower, undertuned for the warranty. I fully expect 13s after mods in my big 4 door 4x4, and if I am running with the SRT 10s, then that's pretty good. We'll see. I paid 4k delivered for the Roush

I'm talking after the intercooler, 4.56 gears, supermaxx long tube headers, 2 lb lower pully kit upgrade. We'll see. Maybe I'm to ambitious.

The key is to keep the weight down. Run 2wd. Limit your wheel size, and keep trim work, guards, and extra stuff to a minimum. Here's an example. The 4x2 Supercrew short bed has a curb weight of 5176.5 versus the 4x4 @ 5476.3. Then you look at the extended cab long bed 4x4 and it weighs in @ a piggy 5848.9.

Weight is your enemy. Tack on the running boards, the bedliner, the hard tonneau cover, and you just added a another 100-125 lbs.

You will need at least 450rwhp to reach middle 13s. But it's not impossible if you raise the boost and take care of traction issues.
