Being as raked in the front as you are will make the truck handle terrible. The ride has a lot to do with bottoming out. How low did you cut your bumpstops? Really a c-notch would solve all of your bottoming out problems. They have bolt on ones at airbaigit.com.

Had my phone call with Belltech rep....very uneventful. He asked me the same questions over that he allready asked....(the mesurements from wheelwell to axle). I did crawl up underneith the truck and took some pics of the flip kit with a load on it and sent to him. I was amazed that I only have about 2-3 inches of travel between bumpstops and top of axle. He couldnt give me a estimated time of when they were going to have a fix but he did tell me that they were getting about a 6-7 inch drop on there 5 inch flip kits on the Screws....and that I was at the most extreme of them... He also told me that he was using me as a "guinea pig" since it seems Im one of the few people that he is getting info from.....Im not a happy camper

Next time you speak to them, can you ask them why they don't take the smart route and make drop leafs? From an engineering view, flip kits seem like a lazy way to lower a truck (except for those that desire such extreme drops).

Imagine how much control we could have with reasonably priced drop leafs. If it's too low, simply add a spacer. If it's too high, add a drop shackle and pinion angle shim. It would give us a blank canvas on which we could make our trucks sit just the way we want.

Doesn't sound like Belltech to say your a "guinea pig." They would have a truck actually in their bay to be the pig LOL

Maybe you'll get some "freebie" for your "aggrevation"?

Please note that the Standard and Ext Cab are NOT effected by ANY of these issues. The flip kit can be used without the issue of being to low in the rear.
I have a 2011 regular cab and installed the belltech kit to begin with. The rear was lower than the front by about 1". I took it back off and its sitting in the box in the garage. I think its due to the newer engines being lighter than the older engines and the front not dropping down as much, or isnt lower than the older models from the factory in the front to begin with.

Me and my buddy started this morning at about 8 and finished if u will at 630.
Everything went on fine except the rear might can use some shims. The install pic showed me putting a spacer under the rear of the tranny but my truck looked nothing like in the pic nor did my spacer fit anywhere. So modded that.
I used a small ring not the big ring like it said to use up front. Coud have been a little better built it seemed like it could be better. My friend installed this kit on his 11 ecoboost and a 09 and said his tranny spacer was like the pic so why is mine different???.
I'll get pics tomorrow as it was dark. It rides fine otherwise. Also will be in contact with belltech on what I found and info on my truck to help them.

Jared I sent over all your info to Belltech this morning. The more info they have about each truck that has an issue the better.

Seems like Ford did a lot of changes on various models.
