Looks good...You said you used the smaller spacer in the front??...I used the thicker of the spacers and it gives me 19 in the front....Do you get bottoming out in the rear??...Your truck is EXACTLY like mine except for the year (mines a '10)...That was a Beltech 3/5??.....

Also..looks like your front headlights are tinted..How did you do that??

Everything went on fine except the rear might can use some shims. The install pic showed me putting a spacer under the rear of the tranny but my truck looked nothing like in the pic nor did my spacer fit anywhere. So modded that.
I used a small ring not the big ring like it said to use up front. Coud have been a little better built it seemed like it could be better. My friend installed this kit on his 11 ecoboost and a 09 and said his tranny spacer was like the pic so why is mine different???.
I'll get pics tomorrow as it was dark. It rides fine otherwise. Also will be in contact with belltech on what I found and info on my truck to help them.
I know of the spacer your talking about. If I remember right that spacer was for the Regular cab trucks....Did you cut down the driveshaft bracket and drilled the holes on the bottom of the bed??....I didnt at first and got a vibration...Once I did it quit

Yea 3/5 belltech. I used smallest ring spacer.

I did cut the plate under the bed. And that spacer said I needed to use Iy according to directions but I left it out. My buddy is going to make some shims to try and we will modify that spacer to see what happens. I have very very very small vibration on a hard throttle from a stop.
My headlights are like that on 2011 fx models. No bottoming out problems so far today, except pulling into a store with a high curb I turned in to fast.

I am suprised that they sold you the kit with the problems THEY SAY they are having with it...what where your mesurements before the drop??

Im still getting a pop noise in the front when I turn sharp/slow..Havent had the chance to lift it back up and loosen the front struts and have the weight of the truck on them to tighten up.
What I mean buy "bottoming out" is that the top of the rear end housing hits the bump stops....
I was getting the same vibration (when I excelerate) before I cut out the driveshaft mount..everything is good now...But there was nothing in the kit that even looked like it would fit under the transmision

No bottoming out problems except for going fast over big holes which in Louisiana there are alot.put 100 miles on it and I like it, I will put helper bags later. and no popping.and I can't recall what my stock measurements were.

You don't want to have to rely on helper bags to get you to your ride height. That is what I am doing right now and it sucks! The ride is so bouncy you wouldn't believe it. The air in the bags combined with the leaf springs is just horrible. It is fine to have air in the bags with a load in the bed or when towing, it rides like a dream, but with no load and air in the bags it sucks.

I added a 3" drop shackle to get me lower b/c I was slightly raked. I'm only using about 10psi in my bags to get me to my ride height and I hate it. It keeps you from bottoming out but I rather bottom out once in a blue moon then have a super bouncy ride all the time. I will be getting rid of the leaf springs all together and going with a 4link, watts link, new bags, e-level, step notch, and rear tubs and bridge. I have finally realized that to achieve the drop I want AND the ride I want full air ride is the only solution.

Thanx Milt...Im just getting frustrated....Especialy after seeing Colonel's ride....Going to try to adjust my front end..Tomorroo going to loosen the Struts up with the weight of the truck on it then tighten them back up and see if it might level out a little...Ill be doing this with some Crown and Coke so at the end of the day I'll be happy what ever happens...

Are you still running around with the spacer in your struts? Just take them out, then make sure you tighten up the lower bolts with the truck's weight on it when you're done.

That's probably going to be your only option at this point unless you want to take the un-flip your axle.

I have one of the thicker spacers under the struts....According to Beltech this will give me the 3 inch drop in the front....I still have all my "extra" stuff that came with the kit. Waiting to here back from Beltech before I go thru the trouble of taking the struts back off the truck...Its a bad time of the year with Christmas this weekend for me to do that right now....But I will do it if I have too

Ah, got it. Well putting aside what the instructions say and in the spirit of "We're men and we don't need no stinkin' directions!", I'd say just remove the spacers.

Unless they decide to engineer a front hanger extension like the DJM kit uses, I don't see them being able to add any more lift to their flip kit. If I were to take an guess, I'd say that they're just going to gather information so it can be made an exclusion in their application listing.

I'm getting disappointed with Belltech myself. The lower bushing in one of my struts is destroyed, and the other one looks like a rotten tire and will probably go soon. They're not even two years old. I read the warranty information on their site, and they would have me send them back, wait for them to verify the defect, then send replacements. I can't have my truck out of service for that long.

That's why I put the smallest spacer after I read you put the big one just to see what mine came out like. If you do that then I think you will be good.
