Who has 26's???

im trying to get opinions and experiences from people that have 26inch wheels. ive done research on the site and seems like most people stick with 24s, but ive noticed 26s dont cost much more than 24s. also, im wondering how much of a difference the sidewall of a 305/35/24 makes compared to 305/30/26? can the TPMS be used with 26s? appreciate all the help i can get. thank you.

My F150 is on 23's, but my brother has a Tahoe on 26's. He's told me that the ride is rough. My guess is less sidewall. Not sure about the actual tire size, but guessing, it looks as though he has only a 2" sidewall. Way too dangerous on a truck that large (not mentioning brake reduction), if you ask me. If I had the choice between a 24" or 26" - 24" definitely. I'm sure you can get TPMS setup on a 26" wheel. The complete kit I purchased from Tire Rack fits wheels 22" to 26". They sell the TPMS sensors, cradles and bands. Call them or look them up online (tirerack.com) and I'm sure they can help. - Og

I think 26's fit the newer body style better, I had 24's on mine and until I lowered it did it look right. I think they look best dropped 2" in the back to level it out with 26's but that is just me

Beautiful truck you got there!! my choice has been hard due to the sidewall/ride issue. 24s are nice, but 26s just look really good lol roads are not the best where i live but somewhat managable.

this is what im considering, 24s with either a 2" rear drop to level it out or a 2/4 drop. the 26s would be just a 2" rear drop. i love the look of 26s like yourself on the new trucks, but the ride/sidewall kind of scares me. i dont want to get flat tires all the time or bend the wheels. then again, i am wondering just how much difference there is i sidewall from a 24 to 26 inch wheel and if its worth it to stay with a 24.

305/35/24
12" wide
4.2" sidewall
32.4" overall height

305/30/26
12" wide
3.6" sidewall
33.2" overall height

If I could fit a 35 series tires under my truck id be running those instead of the 30 series you feel the road with 30 series feels like a corvette but its not a harsh ride
