this is what i was afraid of, my other option was to do a leveling kit and 20 or 22 inch wheels on 33" all/mud terrain tires, but i steered away from this due to the fact that this set up would throw rocks and debris all over the side of the truck and ruin the paint over time. its definitely been a very tough decision.

thank you everyone for posting so far, please keep posting, i appreciate everyone's help!

my next set for my truck will be 24s.. i'm not the NBS, & that NNBS posted is pure sex. got a buddy trying to sell me his

26s would be a bit overkill for my bodystyle, but they would fit you square body guys perfectly after nicely leveling the rear

Here's Mines....

Here's my 09 SuperCrew with 26's and no drop.....

Rides almost as good as factory. Still smooth and all, just heavier weight on the vehicle.

Let me know what you think.

nice truck!!! unfortunately, my 26" dream seems like its over lol i need something that would be able to handle winters (snow). im sure any tire on a 26 in wheel would not be good especially with the potholes that pop up where i live in the winter and i dont want to keep switching wheels every winter either. my other option was doing 24s with nitto terra grapplers (305/35) but seems like that wont look good. so in the end the only option left is 20s or 22s with 33" all terrain or mud terrain tires.

what kind of tires do you have? i guess i would still consider 24s, do you think its better for me to get all terrain tires like the terra grappler or an all season like the 420s be good enough? with the terra grapplers, im wondering if the 285/40/24 would be better than the 305/35 to fill the fenders more. also not sure on the offset of the wheels, like if a +15 or something would make everything flush with the fenders.

Im running some cheap @$$ sunny tires they are 150 a tire and honestly they have lasted me almost two years lol they are a 275-30-24. There is a f150 on a mail route I do and he has a 4x4 with kmc wheels and 305/35/24s ill try and get a pic if the truck is there. Kinda looks weird with a small tire he is running a nitto terra grappler

i definitely would like as much sidewall as possible without looking funny lol i definitely cant wait for you to get the pics of the truck your talking about since ive searched and found no one running terra grapplers in a size similar to that.

its 4x4 and i know most people on here say lift a 4x4 and lower a 4x2, i just want to do something different but still looks good.

thanks for the pic. is that truck leveled (front lift)? i think it looks funny as well, lowering it would make it look alot better. if i lower my truck, its either a 2" rear drop or a 2/4 kit.
