4x4 wanting to go lowww

truck is a 2001 f150 4x4
ok, so far my drop consists of removed the rear blocks, shackles, and uncranked my torsion bars.
i just got me some chevy key's so as soon as i can get a torsion unloading tool, im swapping them in, im wanting to know what else can i do up front to go lower and retain good ride quality. anyone?
in the rear i guess i'll have to do hangers and shocks? guess i'll need shims then too if i am goin to go that low, am i right?
thanks!

Coils? Would drop control arms work with a 4wd?

You know who to call eric.....but the 4wd may be beyond his expertise....

doesnt have any coils on his truck, well except for COPs, but thats something else.

and no one makes a drop control arm for 4wd because it would be pretty much impossible to make

seems like your best bet would be get a high quality shock to help control the front end, because im sure the ride will soften up the lower you go with factory Tbars

nice, who did you get the chevy torsions from?

i know on the 4x4 suspension rangers (also torsion bar susp.) some of the guys have flipped the torsion keys to get even more drop..although some of the guys say its not "safe", but it also seems that the guys saying its not safe havent actually tried it

but i also like the 13" rim idea!

he'd have to get a foot of wheel spacers to clear the rotors and calipers then, either that or mount the wheel inside out

He could just get a set of those little 14" Tejano wheel/tire setup, the ones that stick out about a foot from the vehicle.....

So Pat, basically, as far as you know, there is no going lower in the front except for shocks?

Reread what i said. I am recommending a good shock since the front end will be kinda sloppy the lower he goes.

Eric you really should just get a 2wd if you wanna be alot lower

It would proubly be way safer/cheaper to sell/trade your 4x4 and get a 2wd then bag it
