bumping an old *** thread, but after reading some smartass comments from me hahahah, i think i'm going to stick with this truck for as long as i can, with the recent loss of my dad, i would actually like to keep this truck and remember him getting it for me as my first vehicle.

ended up doing hangers i bought from pat, and was finally able to install the chevy keys, heres what it looks like now.

good to hear dude. Youve got a nice truck, and its been good to you. No reason to get rid of it IMO. Keeping first vehicles FTMFW!

thanks guys and yeah travis, one day i just need to blast the frame if it ever gets down to it and line it and it'd be good as new, along with new transmission and engine (which hopefully will happen sometime soon)

good to hear you decided to keep it. we should both go built on our motors once we get another vehicle. a turbo 4v 4.6 vs a s/c 4v 4.6

4.6's are for the weak
no replacement for displacement. 6.8 v10 twin turbo or bust!
in reality though, 5.4 2v built then f/i later

2v is just more realistic for me, and if i want to, i can just swap heads and it'd be 4v capable.

looks good, just build the bottom end strong while you still have the engine out of the truck

im really surprized with how well it came out. can you take a pic of the CV axle? Im curious if its past level or where its at :o
