Question flat black paint job

hi guys,

i have been thinking about painting my 04 f150 flat black.

has anyone tried this before?

any pics?

I remember a few years back when james hettfield from metallica had did this to his 04 150 truckin magazine cover truck looked badass too but he has the money

I think it would be awsome if done right. A friend of mine has a harley that is painted matte black and its ****** awsome.

Here is a pic if you like I can read the article again if you have any questions I have that Truckin' issue. I don't know the difference between a suede black paint job or flat black but I think they call this one suede.

Yep thats it.......now that i see it again it really aint all that but it's okay i guess not my flavor tho

It's like my helmet in the picture below. It's not flat black, it's called Satin Black. It has a cleaner look than just flat black.

yea in a recent RIDES magazine a couple dj's that worked together had an '07 tahoe all flat black including headlights taillights and rims-it was bad azz...
i was thinkin' of doing my truck the same way but with a lime green pinstrpe you know the old hot rod look i think it'll look killer on an f-150 just dont do it with lime green haha ....definitely gonna come back for 2007

the VP of my car club has flat stripes, you could also think about ideas like that. its the subtle things that make trucks nice.




or you could just be like this baller Tu Nero 430

03' F150 king ranch flat black-Mate Black

i got mine done and it looks amazing i have a 2003 f150 king ranch flat black with all the decals blacked out u shoudl do it
