So why not make the extra effort and make it safe and LEGAL? If the location is as safe as you say, local law enforcement might even work with you if it ultimately alleviates problems with illegal racing.

I mean seriously, what's the problem with simply obeying the law?

Where did you race an SRT-8. I wasn't even aware they were out yet as I haven't seen any. Anyways, here is the video of the Civic I raced. Kretinus, I have no idea, probably because to get my heavy **** truck to a track, it would take a lot more $ (entry fee, gas, etc). This is local and safe. Why go the extra mile to make it legal? I am forced to pay $1700 in taxes just because my truck is from out of state, maybe they can use that money to build an entire f'in track...*******s.

My friend got a Dakota 5.9 R/T extended cab.
He has always wanted to beat me, so then LAST NIGHT!
A group of friends and I went out to race My Truck against HIs.
He has a MSD ignition, Air intake, and a chip.

I was almost sure that he was gonna beat me, BUT HELL NO!! Starting from first all the way to the end i Pulled him. When i finished it was a good 10 truck lenghts.
He said he wanted a rematch, I don't know why, if he is gonna lose again. BUt he said he had to do an oil change and put spark plugs haha

Next time, I will take pictures Or video so everyone can see how ugly a 5.9 gets smoked!!

Another thing!! How do you take video, does any camcorder work? or need some special type??

The 5.9s are slow to begin with, it's just a big motor/little truck combo that makes it "fast".

A modified 5.9 got smoked by a stock 4.6 with over sized tires by 10 lengths?

You must have a few mods yourself, either that your friend just doesn't know how to drive because the laws of physics are seldom broken

Stock 1997 4.6 F150 4X2 1/4 at 17.1 - 79.6MPH

Stock 1998 5.9 R/T 1/4 at 12.97 - 103.69

Dude...he's got a modded V-6, notice how it says 256CI at the top...And I've beaten a Dodge Ram SS/T 5.9 before, and I didn't even gun it off the line, I didn't even know we were racing til he guned it and pulled away, and I caught up to him. And that truck in the gallery isn't his, I've tried to help him fix the link but he don't listen.

Uh that's why I brought up the issue of mods, his profile doesn't mention any and the stock numbers don't add up. Hell my wifes Isuzu would pound a stock 4.6 (and has at HBC)

Hemi +3....F +1

Went to the Street Wars drags Wednesday night. I paired up with a guy that had a 06 Hemi, std cab, short bed, same size as mine. We were running 15.3's. He won three, and I won one. The biggest difference in our times for four runs was .04. It was fun.

This was no ram. IT was a DAKOTA 5.9 R/T, much lighter than a ram. I thought THese trucks by being smaller where gonna be quicker. Hell no, it's a piece of junk v8 truck. He has some stuff but not enough to compete agains my V6.

HAHA!! YES ITS NOT STOCK.... AND NOOO!!! IT IS NOT A 4.6-- IT"S A 4.2 V6!!!

That 1/4 mile time for that 5.9 r/t has to have some heavy mods, because they suck big time.
