Rear seat lift
I have a 2002 f150 extented cab and i have looked all over for a lift kit for the rear seats so i can slide a larger box under the seat. Im looking to place 2 jl 10w3's under there but the space i have now is not even close to what i need. Is there anyone out there that knows where i can get a lift kit for my rear seat ??? (60/40 split fold up) thanks

I personally have never heard of such a product for these trucks or any other vehicle for that matter. Why not use a smaller box or fewer woofers. (this is assuming you are not one of those all to common jackasses that don't care what the music sounds like as long as it is at 150dB outside of the truck annoying everone else).

I know that there is a such thing i have seen it and heard of the kits however i just haven't been able to locate one for the 2002 and no i dont care about how many ppl outside my truck can hear it as a matter of fact i plan on using a material similar to dynamat to keep bad noise out and good in.

What do you plan to do with the jack and housing? Bag it up and put it with the spare as some have offered?
You could also use one 10" JL in a box that fits under the seat at stock height. That is what I have done (actually a Kenwood designed for small enclosures) and it sounds great. The box has ~>.6cf and more could be added by extending one side further under the 60% of the 60/40 fold up.
The sub hits hard and pretty low. The system as a whole could sound better but that would require a new head unit with better freq. response...
If you are interested I can e-mail you my drawing/plans. Keep in mind the box needs to be carpeted and the design has changed some, i.e., the "feet" are no longer part of the side piece, they are added with dowels after it is built. Also, the newer design is slightly bigger.
Here are a couple of pics:

I was planning on putting the jack under the front passenger seat and sliding the amp under the driver seat but for a jl 10w3 i know i need more space and im hoping with a little lift it will give me enough air space for 2 jl 10w3's. i know one will fit jl sells a stealth box that fits one and worst case thats what i will go with. but sure if you want to email me your plans that would be cool

I have a 2002 ext. cab and i put 2 10" subs in under my back seat. I used kenwood and built 2 seperate boxes one under each side and I put the amp in the middle where that hump is. sounds really good and you cant hear anything outside the truck works great for me. Just an idea. Pics in my gallery under stereo.https://www.f150online.com/galleries....cfm?gnum=1198
