What do you all think of this sub?

I'm looking in to getting a 10" sub for under my rear seat. I'm thinking about getting the JL 10W1V2-4. Any thoughts or experiences with this sub? Thanks!

right on the dot. JL has great SQ subs, I had two JL 12W3's and they were good, but don't expect it to get super loud, not meant for that type of abuse

Can anyone recommend a good 10" sub for around $100-150 for my rear under seat box?

Shallow mount, lots of throw and they sound pretty decent.

Another really good choice for a 10 with less than 5.5 mounting depth is the Image Dynamics ID10.

The best single 10" option for under the rear seat is a Dayton HO 10. Build a .7 cu ft ported enclosure tuned to 30Hz, it will sound excellent.

The other suggestions here are good too.

I had the JL 10W1V2-4 and thought it was a great sub. It's actually sitting in my garage. I just pulled it out of my Dodge when I traded it for my F150.

It's very clean and hit hard enough for me. I wanted something to compliment the rest of my system. I wasn't looking to win any competitions.

If I didn't have the sync system it would be going back in my truck. I just don't want to mess with it now.
