Rear Seat Lift

I just got a sub box to go under the rear seat of my 97' Ext Cab but there isn't enough clearance. Does any one know where I can get a seat lift or how I can make one. Thanks.

I made one in my 97 extended cab. I just used two pieces of heavy wall square tubing from work. I drilled holes for the seat bolts to go through and just removed the center support because I built my box just the right height for the seat to rest on the box in the center. I actually still have the pieces of square tubing but I don't know what I did with the bolts I had used. I found the longer bolts at lowes for a couple of bucks. If you would be interested I would be willing to send you the pieces for the price of shipping if you were interested.

I used longer bolts and found some metal bushings to lift my back seat about 1.5-2 inches to get my box to clear.

I just used some threaded rod and some turnbuckles to lift the rear seat in my '99. Works great, and since I have it sitting on the top of my sub boxes it isn't going to be going anywhere. Not bad for about $12 at Home Depot.

I dont work with LMI welding, i just bought my seat lift from them and they are the only people who make the seat lift. And they DO NOT have a seat lift for 8-9 inches. That would be scary if they did. LOL
