u put the power to the subs it will knock, like i said those fockers are so loud i have my amp only up a 20 percent gain

well i do things like this, i speak only what i kno, i have no need to bullsht, anyone wants to get the same rms amp and those speaks in the same size box we can go system for system and winner takes both, here is an example, a kid had 3- 15" woofers and a couple thousand watts, he swore it would toss my suv, now all that is in the suv is a 500/1 amp and 2 twelve in w3v2 jl in a slot ported jl box, pioneer flipout dvd with active controlls, some crappy components in doors, now we gambled, the crowd decided, he left with a light wallet..

 

i set it by ear so i dont kno how many watts is rolling out, sometime i will put the dmm on it

with the jl500/1 its 500 watts, the tru bench test is i think 650 to 700 watts
take the max fuse size for the amp multiply it by 12.5 thats ur max wattage

 

MTX 1000XD.. Give around 500 to each

 

that will be fine it will leave alot of headroom,,,, do it

yes it will knock.... that amp has alot of *****.... i dont kno the new mtx stuff and their reliability, i have 2 mtx 12" in the basement with an old *** amp, they still play from like 12 yrs ago
