The great thing about the BM is that it only requires .5 cubic feet, where the TW5 needs at least .8 so if you wanted 2 JLs you would need a seat lift for enough airspace. I will be able to fit 2 BMs without a lift. Nick was actually running the BM in .46 and said it was digging just as low as the Mag v4. And while the 13tw5 has slightly more cone, the BM has almost double the linear excursion of the JL. Plus the BM will cost less than half as much.

lol just messin with ya man
how many you plan on running in there?
Whats funny is "BM" stands for "baby Mag" so you are right, it is a little baby. But in this case, big things come in small packages.

I'll be running 2. I dont need crazy SPL as my install is purely SQ oriented, but on occasion it was shake some s*** when I want it to.

I'm just more curious than anything, I was kind of wondering if you had heard anything else about them. From what Nick is saying on the SI forums it sounds like it's going to be one amazing driver.
Well they are making a couple design changes. The basket will be white instead of red, and they are going with a neo motor so it will be about 5 pounds lighter than the prototype. I cant wait for these things, I've been dying for the longest time lol.

I can't wait for those to come out.. I'm hoping to build a good system this year and those would be an awesome relatively cheap substage. How much power you gonna run to them?

The tw5 is an amazing sounding driver. It is limited to ~9mm of travel, but because it has so much cone area it can still have great output.

Are there any tricks like look at specs, and tell if it'll be loud/low?
